North V South 2009, Conscript. 1-3/May

The Warped big game festival is at a new venue this year, an actual MOD training area!!

As well as the usual green areas, there are huge amounts of urban areas on the playing field, giving a different playing experience than previous big games.

With the trade expo opening on Friday 1st may, speedball arena, Tippmann pistol challenge and players party on Saturday 2nd, and the actual big game on Sunday 3rd, it does look like a weekend not to be missed.

Here at Belsales we have decided to support the growing community of airsofters in the UK by stocking airsoft items.

Back this year is the Timewars scenario game, based on the long running TV series, Doctor Who.

 Held again at Campaign Paintball (near Guildford, Surry), and it will be on Sunday October 19th.

This game is different to most other big games I have played in that different fields on the site are separate, and represented other "time zones " in the scenario, with these zones opening and closing during the day, with 2-3 open at any one time. this worked well as was a nice change.

lat year all I spoke to had a amazing time, with the players party the night before ( with free booze!! and food  lets hope this makes a comeback too :-p) and a great fun days play with amazing props, these guys spent a huge amount of time and money on this game.

200 or so players came last year, hopefully it will have even more support this year, as last year was awsome.

Hostage!  North V South Big game 2008

Back  this year, was the warped sports big game, Hostage.

 Held once again at the amazing Heart Of England Conference centre. For those of you who have missed the last two years ( shame on you! ) this place is great, with not only a good sized site, but great mini night club for fun and games the night before.

This year the main event was held on Sunday 16 September at Powerplay Paintball near Wakefield, with the players party on the Saturday night.
 

"The last four years have seen the “goodies” and “baddies” of both Staargate and Staar Wars battle for the supremacy of the Universe. This year the “goodies” of both Staar Wars and Staargate will battle against the “baddies” to achieve the ultimate supremacy of the Universe. This is the FINAL CONFLICT!"

As usual this game was amazing fun, a great end the starwars/stargate themes, cant wait to see whats planned for next year.

 organized an event with South Park and Star Wars being the previous themes."

As usual, a  great fun and enjoyable time had by all I encountered. MASSIVE thanks to Gillie, Hatts and Bully.

Had great fun being the Replicator, "You are now replicators, come to me!!!"  heh.

Already looking forward to next year.
